Building Assistant

Overview Under the supervision of the Site Administrator and/or designee, the Building Assistant will be responsible for the following: Responsibilities Maintenance and upkeep of facilities. Maintaining appropriate records for monthly reports. Taking inventory and ordering monthly building supplies. Managing and coordinating facility usage by internal and external means. Providing facility security (Building lock‑up, monitoring membership desk, lobby). Performing related work as required. Minimum Entrance Qualifications One (1) year of experience in Facilities Maintenance preferred. Good communication and organizational skills are preferred. Must be detail‑oriented. Ability to work with diverse populations preferred. Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job. Must have and maintain a current Massachusetts Driver's License. Location and Residency Boston residency required. Terms Union/Salary Plan/Grade: SEIU/CC-4 Hours per week: 35 #J-18808-Ljbffr City of Boston
