Job Description Job Description Floating Director of Nursing (DON) Our organization is in search of a Floating Director of Nursing (DON) to become a vital part of our corporate clinical team. This role involves traveling to various facilities across Upstate New York. Extensive travel is a requirement for this position. What We Offer: Competitive compensation package Outstanding opportunities for professional growth and advancement Monthly performance bonuses Incentives for wellness and relaxation Key Responsibilities: Supervise all nursing personnel within the facility Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures Oversee the recruitment and retention of nursing staff Ensure adequate nursing coverage and maintain current skill sets among staff Monitor nursing staff conduct Stay informed about incidents occurring within the facility Evaluate the health requirements of each resident Qualifications: Active RN license in New York State is mandatory At least 5 years of experience in long-term care settings A minimum of 2 years in a Director of Nursing role Demonstrated strong leadership and supervisory abilities
