Respiratory Therapist - Day Shift

The Richland Hospital Inc. has a regular full-time, 36 hours per week position available for a Respiratory Therapist. This position will involve an every fourth weekend, holiday and an on‑call rotation. Generally, this position will work 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Under the direction of the Manager of Respiratory Care, the Respiratory Therapist monitors and assesses patients’ respiratory status in all areas including special care, medical / surgical and the emergency department plus performing complete pulmonary function testing. The respiratory therapist assesses, treats and cares for patients of all age groups from infants to the elderly. Initiates and conducts therapeutic procedures, maintains patient records, and selects, assembles, checks and operates equipment. Minimum requirements: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or graduate of NBRC Accredited program. State of Wisconsin certification in Respiratory Therapy required. Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred. Valid BLS within 3 months, ACLS within 6 months and NRP within 1 year #J-18808-Ljbffr
