We're partnering with a well-established CPA firm in the North Haven area that is looking to add a Senior Tax Manager to its leadership team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced public accounting tax professional who wants strong work-life balance, meaningful client exposure, and a clear path to Director and ultimately Partner.

Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Manager

• Manage and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returns
• Provide tax planning, research, and advisory services across federal, state, and local tax matters
• Manage key client relationships and multiple tax engagements
• Work directly with Partners on complex tax issues and strategies
• Review staff work and provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship
• Manage engagement workflow, deadlines, priorities, and deliverables
• Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, efficiency, and client service
• Stay current on changes in federal, state, and local tax regulations

Qualifications of the Senior Tax Manager

• Active CPA license required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 8+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
• Tax review and supervisory/management experience
• Strong experience with individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary returns
• Strong tax planning, research, and analytical skills
• Experience managing client relationships and multiple engagements
• CCH Axcess Tax experience strongly preferred

Compensation of the Senior Tax Manager


$130,000-$175,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
