Terminal Supervisor

Overview The Terminal Supervisor oversees daily warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate receiving, storage, and shipping of finished goods and related materials. This role provides leadership to warehouse staff, ensures compliance with company standards and safety protocols, and drives continuous improvement in productivity and quality. The Terminal Supervisor works closely with management and cross‑functional departments to maintain operational excellence and support business objectives. Role This position reports to the Manager of Transportation and Logistics. Employment category: Full‑Time Regular. Pay range: $71,800 to $97,375. Onsite position. Responsibilities Ensure warehouse staff complies with company/department policies, ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP and standard operating procedures. Assist the Shift Manager with reviewing and updating standard operating procedures (SOP). Use IFS, IWS, and associated computer programs for tracking and efficiencies. Provide updates, briefings, feedback, and reports to the Shift Manager and Distribution Manager. Lead and manage warehouse personnel, supervising full‑time, part‑time and temporary employees. Pull daily schedules for receiving, picking and shipping. Conduct pre‑shift meetings, informing staff of daily tasks, goals and issues. Manage product locations and placements to maximize available space. Ensure efficient and accurate in‑house labeling. Inspect dock equipment, trailers and boxcars for serviceability and operate dock equipment as needed. Receive and ship case goods accurately, documenting all transactions. Direct movement of received product from dock location to designated rows. Secure over‑the‑road loads using load‑locks or airbags; secure boxcar loads with dunnage and airbags. Open and close boxcar doors and place or remove ramps for loading. Identify and place tax‑paid, inbound and export products correctly. Conduct daily inspections of equipment and facilities, report deficiencies and maintain cleanliness and presentation. Change electric lift batteries and perform propane refueling for gas lifts. Ensure staff completes pre‑use inspections of lifts. Conduct safety briefings and tailgates. Monitor supplies and inform the Shift Manager of reorders. Select logical placement of warehoused product and supplies. Operate a counterbalanced lift, narrow‑aisle lift, and pallet truck. Maintain a month product movement accuracy rating of no less than 99.6%. Perform other duties as assigned by management or ownership. Safely operate company vehicles (typically Class C box trucks, vans, or similar) for short‑distance runs. Load, secure and unload materials or goods for deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs and electronic records. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Three (3) years of warehouse/logistics experience. One (1) year of leadership experience (lead or equivalent). Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Minimum three years of driving experience, commercial or delivery experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Read and write in English. Basic computer skills. Work with minimum supervision. Knowledge of vintages, varietals, alcohol percentages, bottle/can/box/keg sizes and types. Knowledge of trailer and boxcar load configurations and product flow. Certified (IVES) to operate counterbalanced lifts, narrow‑aisle lifts and pallet trucks. Ability to learn operating systems including IFS, IWS and Novacura. Battery charging/cycling and propane refueling. Work at any Bronco affiliated warehouse when needed. Work any shift when needed. Physical Requirements Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
