Machine Operator (Union)

Machine Operator Job Details Schedule: Must be willing to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift. This is a Union Plant. Pay: $21.58 to $33.20 / hour. Job Level: 2. Responsibilities Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed through the production shift. Set up machinery ensuring all production materials are available and ready to be used to produce. Visually inspect production run and document results, confirming quality of product throughout production. Determine and report malfunctions to supervisor or manager regarding safety hazards and product defects. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area to maintain safety and performance standards. Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events. Requirements High School Diploma (or GED) required or equivalent degree/certificate required. Forklift Certification within 30 days from hire required. Must be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
