Biomedical Equipment Technician 1

GE HealthCare seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician to service and maintain medical equipment across healthcare facilities in the Spartanburg, South Carolina region. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose biomedical equipment malfunctions in hospital settings
- Perform repairs, planned maintenance, safety and environmental inspections
- Document all work performed and maintain regulatory compliance
- Maintain customer relationships and communicate service resolution and follow-up
- Report quality and compliance concerns to appropriate organizational teams
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- High school diploma/GED with minimum 2 years equipment servicing experience
- Knowledge of electronic digital circuitry and electro-mechanical devices
- Ability to interpret schematic diagrams
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Capacity to lift and move up to 35 pounds
