iRhythm Technologies seeks an experienced Director of Procurement to lead and scale the procurement function managing $100M in annual purchases. The role focuses on implementing category management best practices, driving cost savings, and supporting rapid business growth in the medical device sector.

Responsibilities

Lead and expand procurement function to support business growth and maximize profitability and ROI
Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements through category management
Develop risk mitigation strategies to address supply chain disruptions while ensuring quality and compliance
Partner with finance, IT, and manufacturing to enhance P2P processes through automation and strategic sourcing
Build, mentor, and manage high-performing procurement team while nurturing key supplier relationships

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years procurement operations and strategic sourcing experience
7+ years medical device, pharma, or biotech industry experience with ISO 13485 and FDA regulatory knowledge
Demonstrated expertise developing and executing category strategies for indirect procurement areas
Strong contract negotiation and commercial terms expertise
Proven analytical skills and ability to drive process transformation in fast-paced environments
Experience contributing to P2P process automation or improvement initiatives

Compensation: $158,000 - $252,000
