Full-Time Opportunity

AristaCare is seeking a creative and compassionate Activities Director to oversee and manage the facility's Recreation and Activities Department. The Activities Director develops and coordinates engaging programs that support residents' physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and facility policies.

• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate resident activity programs.

• Develop activities based on residents' interests, abilities, and individual care plans.

• Coordinate department policies, procedures, and daily operations.

• Collaborate with nursing staff, community agencies, and other departments to meet residents' needs.

• Ensure activities are safe, engaging, and appropriate for residents.

• Assist with identifying and addressing infection control and workplace safety concerns related to department activities.

• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a social or recreation program within the past 5 years.

• At least 1 year of full-time experience in a patient activities program within a healthcare setting.

• Must be a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT), Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), or have completed a state-approved training course.

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
