Johnson VA Medical Center located at 1 Medical Center Drive Clarksburg, WV 26301. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive anesthesiology services for: General, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, ENT, urologic, ophthalmologic, plastic, and cardiac surgeriesGI, radiology, MRI, cath lab, and ECT proceduresPerform pre-operative evaluations and intra-operative anesthesia managementManage: Airway (basic and advanced)Regional, local, and general anesthesiaInvasive monitoring (arterial lines, central lines, PA catheters)Acute and chronic pain managementProvide anesthesia support for: ICU patientsPACU issuesEmergency airway managementRespond to consults at bedside or clinic as neededProvide on-call coverage: WeeknightsWeekendsFederal holidaysBe available by phone within 15 minutes and on-site within 60 minutes while on callQualificationsMD or DOActive, full, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. stateCompletion of an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residencyBoard Eligible or Board Certified (ABA preferred)AHA BLS & ACLS (current)DEA licenseNPIMust be able to pass a federal background investigationAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
