Design, implement, and optimize electrical systems to improve safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and cost performance. Write and validate code and utilize machine software to prepare CNC fabrication equipment for production.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and support electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment and processesWrite code for CNC machining processesOperate nesting software for laser cutting processTroubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and automation issues to minimize downtimeManage engineering projects from concept through implementation, including scope definition, equipment specification, installation, startup, and validationSupport PLC, HMI, robotics, motion control, and data acquisition systemsDevelop and maintain electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentationIdentify and implement process improvements that increase reliability, quality, and operating efficiencyCollaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and project teams to achieve business objectivesEnsure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company requirementsEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions for manufacturing applicationsDesired Skills:Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsProject management and cross-functional collaboration experienceProficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar design softwareExperience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent automation platformsExperience with JETCAM, Mastercam, PolyWorks, G-codeExcellent communication and technical documentation abilitiesEducation RequirementsBachelor's degree in electrical engineeringExperience with industrial electrical systems, controls, automation, or manufacturing environments preferred. Knowledge of PLC programming, instrumentation, motor controls, power distribution, and industrial networking preferred.Hours of work/work schedule 40 hours+ M-F Potential for adjusted hours, evening meetings, and weekends may be requiredThis position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $68,301.00 - $93,914.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.A job that shapes a life.
