Manager of Community Health Outreach

Role Overview The Manager, Grant Programs supports Visa Foundation’s grantmaking strategy and implementation in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). The role oversees the Visa Foundation Gives Program, a multi-year initiative that addresses local socio‑economic issues in communities surrounding Visa’s largest offices worldwide. Working with the Senior Director, Grants & Partnerships, the manager will develop the financial inclusion grantmaking strategy in LAC, focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship, and access to capital. Key Responsibilities Grant Management (60%) : Identify, develop, and evaluate grantee partnerships in LAC that support small businesses through financial services, training, and resources; lead Visa Foundation’s community presence initiatives; support strategic grants directed by the Board. Portfolio Management (20%) : Conduct portfolio‑wide analysis, financial and impact management; facilitate learning and connection across grants; produce quarterly and annual overviews; assist with legal and operational tasks for grantees. Internal & External Communication (20%) : Prepare internal and external presentations, reports, and programmatic updates; collaborate with communications to elevate Foundation initiatives. Qualifications Basic: 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 2+ years of relevant experience with an advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD) OR 0 years of experience with a PhD. Preferred: 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 4+ years of relevant experience with an advanced degree OR 3+ years of relevant experience with a PhD; fluency in Spanish; experience as a grant maker with private foundations; experience supporting women‑led MSMEs; consulting or investment background a plus; ability to integrate technology; expert in PowerPoint and Excel; strong writing, editing, and oral communication; analytical thinking; stakeholder communication skills; collaborative mindset; self‑starter; exceptional work ethic; ability to manage multiple projects under pressure. Benefits Competitive salary range: $134,600 – $215,300 USD per year (may include sales incentive and equity).
