Overview Responsible for gathering, calculating, and compiling data for use in estimates and preparing routine estimates under general supervision. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Prepare accurate quantity surveys and estimates for those divisions of the project as assigned Complete assignments in agreed upon time frame Solicit subcontractor and/or supplier quotations or scheduling input as required for the assignments Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.
