The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.Job SummaryThe BVG Estimator reviews plans and prepares bid information for commercial landscape and irrigation projects.Duties and Responsibilities:Gather, calculate, and compile take-off data for use in bid proposal estimatesPrepare routine estimates and detailed cost estimates for ancillary projects under the supervision of the managerMaintain current and accurate information on prices from suppliers and subcontractorsUtilize standard estimate computer software to present information to managementDemonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrityEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experiencePrior experience in the landscaping industry, with estimating and managing landscape and irrigation projectsExperience with HCSSProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Effective oral and written communication skillsCustomer service experienceProficiency with On-Screen Take-OffStrong work ethic with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and perform in a fast-paced environmentBilingual (Spanish) a plusPhysical Demands/Requirements:Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, a cell phone, and printers/copiersPosition is sedentary; must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of timeAbility to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occurWork Environment:This role works in an indoor office work environment.BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.This job description is subject to change at any time.BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
