Maintenance Supervisor

Kruger Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our rapidly growing company. We make pickles, banana peppers, jalapeño peppers, bell peppers, relish and diced peppers for salsa. This person will be responsible for the proper maintenance of all manufacturing and facility equipment. This individual will also be responsible for overseeing the entire maintenance department, line mechanics, and Maintenance Technicians.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensuring all Preventive Maintenance is completed as scheduled Ensuring all work orders are completed in a timely manner Ensuring proper tools are used when working with production equipment Vs. non production equipment. Ensuring all necessary maintenance records are up to date and organized. Accounting for all tools and parts used and/or removed Properly locking out all equipment before performing maintenance work. Notifying supervisor of any problems or potential product risks Ordering all required parts. Scheduling equipment service and contacting outside contractors for all facility equipment. Responsible for maintaining the shop in a neat and orderly fashion. Properly sanitizing or ensuring that proper sanitation has taken place before unlocking or returning any piece of equipment to production.
