Overview
Medical Technologist in the Laboratory (travel assignment) | Lawrenceville, GA | Start 07/26/2026 | 13 weeks | $1,598–$1,727 per week | 40 guaranteed hours per week | Night shift, 10:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m. with every 4th weekend. This assignment centers on clinical laboratory testing and analysis in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform high-complexity laboratory testing and data entry according to SOPs.
- Prepare specimens, operate automated analyzers, and perform manual testing as required.
- Monitor quality control, instrument performance, and perform troubleshooting as needed.
- Report results via LIS/EMR, document accurately, and communicate critical values promptly.
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards (e.g., CLIA, CAP) and participate in proficiency testing as applicable.
- Collaborate with laboratory and clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate results.

Requirements
- Certifications: Active Medical Technologist/Med Tech certification from ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.
- Setting: Ability to work in a clinical laboratory performing specimen testing and analysis.
- Schedule: Ability to work nights with the stated weekend rotation (every 4th weekend).
- Communication: Demonstrated accuracy in documentation and result reporting.
