Test Manager
- The Test Manager takes up the role of facilitating communication across agile teams working within an organization.
- Presents an aggregated view of testing to the higher management.
- Serves as the escalation point for the testers.
- Make the right tools available for the testing team.
- Minimum 8 years formal experience.
- Minimum 4 years of previous test manager experience .
- Strong test leadership background .
- Experience utilizing project management tools ( JIRA ).
- Experience utilizing test case management tools ( Qtest ).
- Experience in tracking testing metrics and reporting .
- Experience in authoring test cases in Gherkin .
- Experience testing Web Services (REST/SOAP/XML/JSON/Postman/Swagger, etc.)
- Exposure to test automation UI and API (Selenium, Cucumber, Postman).
- Knowledge of automated configuration management , build processes , & requirement tools .
- Strong troubleshooting skills combined with the ability to break down complex issues.
- Ability to comprehend business requirements and specification documents .
- Experience in setting standards and guidelines on the choice of automation tools .
- Experience in defining \ implementing testing strategies and methodologies.
- Can determine and provide training to testing teams .
- Capable of building a team intelligently consisting of automation testers, manual testers, and testing professionals.
