Medical Lab Technologist

Labcorp seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist for its Seattle facility to perform clinical testing, operate laboratory instrumentation, and ensure accurate specimen processing and result reporting. The role operates on a four-day, ten-hour weekly schedule at Swedish First Hill Hospital Lab.
Responsibilities
- Assess specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex technical procedures
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper functionality
- Prepare, evaluate, and test new reagents and quality control materials
- Document preventative maintenance procedures and deliver timely, accurate test results
- Maintain safe work environment and manage testing bench supplies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Science or Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Compensation: $34.25-$52.14 per hour
