Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Polysomnographer Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 9 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Polysomnographic Technologist – Carle Health Location : Urbana, IL Facility : Carle Foundation Hospital Department : Sleep Lab Start Date : 09/14/2026 Contract : 13 weeks Schedule : 4 × 10-hour night shifts Hours : 40 hours/week Shift : Nights, rotating shifts Local Pay : $45/hr Travel Pay: $1,822/week gross Taxable: $576/week Non-taxable stipend: $1,246/week Job Requirements: Minimum 1 year of Sleep Lab experience Associate's degree or certificate in Polysomnographic Technology RPSGT or RST credential required BLS (AHA) required Experience with sleep disorder evaluation and diagnostic testing Experience with PAP interface fitting and patient education Ability to score sleep/wake stages and clinical events Experience with oximetry, actigraphy, and Home Sleep Apnea Testing (HSAT) preferred Key Responsibilities: Perform in-center and home sleep apnea testing Prepare and monitor patients during sleep studies Perform PAP fitting, desensitization, and education Monitor and troubleshoot physiologic data and equipment Score sleep/wake stages and respiratory, cardiac, limb movement, and arousal events Perform MSLT and MWT procedures Maintain accurate patient and testing documentation Follow infection control and equipment cleaning protocols Provide patient care and sleep-related education About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
