Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Linwood, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients at a food and beverage distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements. Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess at least one year of security-related experience. Possess an armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
