About the Role As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients across various settings. Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice. Certification in Family Nurse Practitioner or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Experience in behavioral health or family counseling. Bilingual proficiency in English and another language. Previous experience in a community health setting. Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate patients' health status and needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams. Provide family and patient counseling to support mental and emotional well-being. Administer behavioral health services, including therapy and medication management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Skills The required skills of family counseling and patient counseling will be utilized daily as you engage with patients to understand their concerns and provide emotional support. Your ability to provide behavioral health services will be essential in addressing mental health issues and integrating them into overall patient care.
