Van Dyk Park Place Assisted Living Community in Hawthorne, NJ, is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join our nursing team. Pay rate: $38 per hour.

Available Shifts: Full-time 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. and part-time 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. Every other weekend is required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Current NJ Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Assisted living or skilled nursing experience
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Management, administrative, or supervisory experience
• Knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and assisted living regulations
• Strong judgment, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care and support to residents in accordance with individual service plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards, company policies, and established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, the Director of Nursing, and team members regarding resident care needs, changes in condition, and follow-up.
• Complete charting, reports, medical forms, medication records, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Supervise and support Caregivers while promoting a safe, respectful, and caring environment.
• Apply sound nursing judgment and help uphold established nursing objectives, standards, and procedures.
