Required Skills:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution; board-certified or truly board eligible in OB/GYN
• Valid Ohio medical license and current DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in obstetric management, including interpretation of NST & FSE, ultrasound performance, and routine delivery procedures
• Experience with low and high-risk pregnancies, fetal monitoring, and OB ultrasounds
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team setting
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior locum or hospital-based OB/GYN experience
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR
• Experience in managing occasional high-risk pregnancies
• Ability to perform obstetric ultrasounds and interpretation

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN clinical experience
• Previous experience covering on-call hospital shifts

Other Requirements:

• Availability for coverage starting May 14, 2026, with urgent need for coverage on 06/25 26/2026, and potential sporadic coverage thereafter
• Must reside within 30 minutes of Bellefontaine hospital while on call
• Willingness to travel and comply with coverage schedule
