Collections Specialist

Arkansas Talent Group is seeking a Collections Specialist for a temp-to-permanent full-time role in Hot Springs Village, AR with a well-rounded accounting team. This position is responsible for managing collections activity, supporting customer service needs, and maintaining accurate delinquency records in a professional, detail-oriented environment. Responsibilities Manage customer account follow-up and collections activity. Communicate with customers regarding account balances, billing questions, and payment status. Maintain accurate records of account activity, contacts, and payment history. Assist with resolving customer concerns related to billing and account discrepancies. Prepare and distribute routine reports related to accounts and delinquency status. Coordinate with internal departments as needed to support account resolution. Process payments and make appropriate account updates. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications College degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. 2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections required. Strong customer service and phone skills. Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in difficult situations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. Strong attention to detail and experience managing data records. Excellent organization, problem-solving, and time management skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. They should be comfortable balancing administrative work, customer communication, and reporting responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
