Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

A mission-driven community health organization serving rural North Carolina communities, 30 minutes south of Fayetteville , is seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care.

Position Highlights:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct patient assessments and prescribe medications
• Order labs and imaging as clinically appropriate
• Manage chronic diseases and support patient self-management
• Monitor patient progress and coordinate care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
• Participate in case reviews and team huddles
• Mentor and precept other clinicians
• Engage in continuing education and quality improvement
• Support patient-centered health home initiatives
• Serve rural and underserved North Carolina communities

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Valid North Carolina licensure
• Physician Assistant Certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• Experience with rural or underserved populations preferred
• Familiarity with team-based care or PCMH/PCHH models preferred
