• Patient Volume: 10K Annual ED Volume
\n
• Coverage Model: 2 Physician shifts per day (6a-6p, 6p-6a)
\n
• Number of Beds: 10 bed freestanding ED
\n
• EMR: EPIC
\n
• Admissions/Transfers: 7% Admission Rate
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Education: Emergency Medicine residency training
\n
• Licensure: Must have or be able to obtain a Texas medical license
\n
• Board Certification: Must be board eligible/board certified
\n
• Experience: Residents welcome to join our team post-residency
\n

Physicians and patients benefit from access to system-wide specialty support, streamlined transfers, and established referral pathways when higher-acuity care is needed. The freestanding model provides an efficient workflow and positive patient experience while maintaining 24/7 emergency capabilities such as 24/7 ultrasound, CT and radiology services.
