Elite Providence Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Physical Therapist to join our team at our esteemed rehabilitation facility in Herndon, Virginia. This full-time onsite role allows you to directly impact the recovery and rehabilitation of patients through personalized care and evidence-based practices. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in physical therapy with at least two years of experience in treating diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in our rehabilitation facility, assessing their physical capabilities and devising appropriate treatment plans.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques, exercise regimens, and cutting-edge therapeutic modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Regularly document patient progress and treatment responses in electronic health records (EHR), adjusting treatment plans as clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to align treatment approaches and ensure holistic care.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic protocols, exercises, and techniques to improve outcomes and enhance self-management skills.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations while upholding the highest ethical standards in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes children recovering from sports injuries, adults undergoing rehabilitation after surgery, and seniors requiring assistance following strokes or other debilitating conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• Proficient in electronic health record systems and basic office software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• High level of interpersonal skills to maintain harmonious team dynamics and rapport with patients.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary between USD 100,000 and 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
