Client Overview:

Our client is a local, well-established accounting firm in Bergen County that is expanding and hiring for a Senior Tax Associate .

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k - $96k

Position Overview:

The Senior Tax Associate will join a collaborative and growing team with a focus on tax preparation for individual, corporate, and partnership returns.

Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Associate:

• Handle all tax preparations for clients.
• Process returns for both personal and business accounts.
• Prepare financial statements as necessary on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Engage with outside clients for tax matters throughout the year.
• Utilize UltraTax for return processing and deadline management.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Tax Associate:

• 4+ years of prior tax preparation experience.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Prior experience working for a regional or local CPA firm.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Tax Associate:

• Knowledge of UltraTax is a plus.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is a plus.
