Dental Office Manager

About the Opportunity We are a well-established practice in Fayetteville, North Carolina seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager / Operations Manager to lead our front office and administrative operations. This is a key leadership role for a professional with a minimum of three years of hands-on dental office management experience who is passionate about operational excellence, team leadership, and delivering outstanding patient experiences. What You'll Do Oversee daily front office operations including patient scheduling, check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and smooth patient flow Manage the full revenue cycle: billing, insurance claims submission, accounts receivable, collections, and denial management Lead, train, coach, and develop the administrative and front office team - building accountability, collaboration, and high performance Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, North Carolina dental regulations, and internal policies Track and analyze key performance metrics (production, collections, scheduling efficiency, patient retention) and implement improvements Partner closely with our clinical providers to optimize scheduling, reduce no-shows, and maximize chair time Handle escalated patient concerns with professionalism and empathy while upholding our Worry-Free patient experience Manage inventory, supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of non-clinical staff Identify and execute process improvements that drive operational efficiency and practice growth What We're Looking For Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Office Manager, Dental Practice Manager, Front Office Supervisor, or similar leadership role in a dental or healthcare practice Strong knowledge of dental insurance (PPO), claims processing, and revenue cycle management Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or comparable systems) Proven leadership skills with experience hiring, training, and developing teams Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in a busy clinical environment Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal - with patients, team members, and providers High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's in business or healthcare administration preferred) Experience in the North Carolina market or with oral surgery and family dentistry preferred Must maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $78,000+ annually (commensurate with experience and qualifications) Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match PTO and paid holidays Complimentary dental care for you and your eligible family members Professional development and continuing education support Positive, supportive work culture focused on teamwork, work-life balance, and delivering worry-free care If you are a results-oriented leader who values patient-centered care and operational excellence, we invite you to join The Teeth Doctors™ team and help us continue providing top-rated dental services to the Fayetteville community!
