Business Development RepresentativeA growing behavioral health organization is hiring Business Development Representatives to support expansion across Southern California. Multiple territories are open, including Orange County, Los Angeles (West Side and Valley), San Gabriel Valley, and surrounding areas. Flexibility exists for high-performing candidates with strong existing relationships. This is a field-based role focused on building referral relationships and driving admissions across mental health residential and outpatient programs. The team operates with a high level of autonomy and is performance-driven. Strong performers have significant earning potential and long-term growth opportunity.Responsibilities:Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, treatment providers, clinicians, and community organizationsProspect and develop new referral sources within assigned territoryManage a consistent schedule of meetings, site visits, and outreachCollaborate with admissions and clinical teams to support appropriate placementTrack activity and manage pipeline using CRM toolsRepresent programs in the field with a professional and ethical approachRequirements:Business development or sales experience in behavioral health or healthcare preferredUnderstanding of mental health levels of care and referral dynamicsAbility to work independently in a field-based roleStrong relationship-building and communication skillsFamiliarity with Southern California markets is requiredThis environment is best suited for individuals who are motivated, consistent, and comfortable being held to performance expectations. The role offers flexibility and autonomy, but requires regular field activity and accountability.Compensation:Base salary typically ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 depending on experience. Higher base available for top candidates. Bonus potential up to $50,000 annually.Schedule:Full-time, 40 to 50 hours per week.
