Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for ER RN (Critical Care) - Night Shift!

Job Description:


- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
- Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years in ER nursing
- Preferred travel nursing experience
- Patient Care:
- ER Patient Ratio: 4:1
- Daily Census: 185
- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC (needed before start)
- Skill Requirements:
- Proficient in arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management
- Experienced in care of ventilated patients, blood product administration
- Competent in interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias
- Knowledge of trauma care including neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury
- Ability to perform procedural sedation administration and monitoring
- Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation required, with approximately 6.5 weekend shifts per contract
- Orientation Hours: 36
- Work Environment:
- Dynamic and supportive interdisciplinary team
- Access to resources including Physical Therapy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
- Charting System: Cerner experience preferred

Additional Information:
- These positions are travel nurse roles; locals cannot be accepted at this time
- References must include one supervisory reference
- High Spanish-speaking population, translator services available
