Order Entry 1Job Description:The Order Entry clerk I is responsible for receiving, entering, and shipping customer orders. The primary duties and responsibilities will be to perform work in accordance to the essential job activities.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive, enter and process customer ordersProcess scrap ordersDisposition and distribution of denied warranties and customer approved ordersDaily log updatesProduction reportingAssist with training as neededIdentify, assist, and troubleshoot with technicians, management and customers with order investigations as neededFDX ShippingSort and distribute incoming productShip confirmation of ordersAssist with denied warranties as neededPractice 5S and safetyTake appropriate corrective action for continuous quality improvement and customer satisfactionAble to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned, including working other shifts as neededPhysical DemandsRepetitive motionMust be able to lift up to 30 poundsEducation and Experience Requirements:High School or GED diploma requiredExperience in shipping and receiving required (prefer experience in manufacturing)Basic math skill and computer skills requiredExcellent 10 key and typing skillsPhysical and Weight Lifting DemandsThe physical and weight lifting demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
