Position Details

Location: Winchester, VA
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $90,000-$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary

An outpatient physical therapy office in Winchester, VA is looking for a Physical Therapist Director to lead clinical care and help create a positive, well-run clinic experience for both patients and staff.

This role is a good fit for a licensed Physical Therapist who enjoys patient care, team leadership, and being part of a clinic where people are working toward real recovery goals every day. You will help patients improve mobility, manage pain, regain strength, and return to the activities that matter to them.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide direct outpatient physical therapy treatment
• Lead daily clinical operations and help keep the clinic organized
• Guide therapists and support staff with treatment planning and documentation
• Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans when needed
• Review documentation for accuracy, quality, and compliance
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, patients, and families
• Support a professional and welcoming clinic environment

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
• Clear communication skills and a steady leadership style
