Asset Protection Visual Security Officer - North Michigan

Summary Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment through visible patrols, observation, and adherence to store security policies. Deter theft and misconduct by maintaining a professional presence on the sales floor and monitoring surveillance. Work with store management and law enforcement as needed to investigate incidents and resolve security concerns. Responsibilities Conduct visible store patrols and monitor CCTV to deter theft and suspicious activity. Observe and report incidents of theft, fraud, safety hazards, and policy violations. Engage with customers and associates professionally while maintaining a loss prevention presence. Apprehend and detain suspected shoplifters in accordance with store policies and local laws. Prepare clear incident reports and assist with investigations and evidence preservation. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Previous loss prevention, security, or retail experience preferred. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
