Site Lead

Overview This position serves as the senior site leader with overall responsibility for aligning people, processes, and performance to achieve business objectives. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across the facility, driving end-to-end execution while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. This position has direct leadership responsibility for Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Facilities, and partners closely with Finance, Human Resources, and Sales to deliver exceptional employee engagement, customer satisfaction, operational performance, and financial results. Responsibilities Plant Operations and Production Management Continuously improve the culture of the team. Lead all day-to-day manufacturing operations, including safety, quality, production, shipping and receiving, materials flow, and facility oversight. Monitor production schedules, capacity, and on-time delivery; implement corrective actions as needed. Coordinate supply chain and engineering teams to support production planning and execution Quality and Continuous Improvement Ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations through strong quality systems and Continuous Improvement Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and reduction of scrap and rework. Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, standard work, waste reduction, and flow improvements. Collaborate cross-functionally to implement best practices and measurable performance improvements. Leadership & People Development Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, and department managers. Foster a positive, accountable, and engaged work environment. Drive performance management, employee development, and retention efforts. Health, Safety & Compliance Own site-level safety performance and promote a proactive, prevention-focused safety culture. Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards. Lead safety training, audits, and corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment. Facilities & Equipment Management Oversee facility operations, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance programs. Ensure equipment uptime and coordinate repairs and capital improvement needs. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient plant environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Technology, or equivalent experience 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Proven track record in operational performance improvement, scrap reduction, and cost control. Strong experience with Lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and KPI-driven management. Proven financial acumen with full P&L responsibility. Experience introducing new processes and technologies to enhance throughput, quality, and customer satisfaction. Strong ability to interpret and mitigate risks associated with customer contracts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
