Job Description
About the Role
Hardware Engineer to support hardware development initiatives. This is a time-bound, temporary engagement intended to address specific project needs, and is not a full-time role. In this role, you will contribute to the design, validation, and documentation of hardware components and systems, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality results within defined timelines.
Responsibilities

- Develop and execute test plans; perform bench testing, debug, and root-cause analysis of hardware issues.
- Document designs, requirements, validation results, and engineering changes clearly and accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., electrical, mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, quality) to support program milestones and deliverables.
- Assist with component selection, schematic/layout reviews, and design-for-test/manufacturability considerations as needed.
- Provide regular status updates on assigned deliverables and risks, and support issue tracking and resolution.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Hands-on experience with hardware development and lab-based debugging (e.g., use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, power supplies).
- Experience reading/interpreting schematics and supporting board/system bring-up and validation.
- Experience developing test procedures and documenting results in a structured, reproducible way.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
