Surgical Technologist First Assist

If you are an experienced surgical technologist passionate about assisting in advanced surgical procedures, join us as a Surgical Technologist First Assist. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting surgeons during operations by ensuring precision and maintaining a sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sterilize instruments and prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, suturing incisions, or holding retractors as needed.
• Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout the procedure to prevent infections.
• Monitor equipment functionality during surgeries and report any issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare patients for surgery by positioning them appropriately on the operating table and applying sterile drapes specific to the procedure being performed.

Work Environment:

• The role is primarily based in hospital operating rooms or specialized surgical centers equipped for advanced procedures.
