Registered Nurse – Med/Surg

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend and holiday.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

4+ years recent acute care experience
Experience in stepdown unit preferred
Must independently read telemetry strips
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Experience with Meditech, telemetry
1 recent successful travel contract preferred
Psych experience highly preferred
Strongly prefer EPIC experience

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and monitor patient conditions
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with healthcare team to plan and implement patient care
Educate patients and families on health management and care plans
Document patient progress and care interventions

Compliance / Notes

Maximum of 5 days of requested time off. No extended requests for time off are allowed. Most Fridays will be required.
