Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to work full-time, serving two school sites near Muskegon, MI. Your expertise will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations, directly contributing to the academic and emotional success of students.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid School Psychologist certification for the state
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Experience administering psychoeducational assessments
Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) frameworks
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Ability to manage caseloads and maintain detailed documentation
Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and interpret formal evaluations and re-evaluations for students across two school sites
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide recommendations for educational interventions and behavioral supports
Participate actively in meetings and share findings with school teams
Maintain thorough and confidential student records in compliance with all guidelines
Offer counseling and consultation to support student mental health and achievement
