Step into a pivotal role supporting students by providing behavioral consultation and intervention services at a vibrant elementary school near Somerville, MA. If you are passionate about promoting positive outcomes and fostering collaborative environments, this contract opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of elementary and middle school students for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Previous experience in public school settings is a plus, though not required.
- Demonstrated expertise in supporting students with behavioral needs and implementing intervention strategies.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with school staff, students, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Creative, compassionate, and team-focused mindset.
Key Duties:
- Deliver behavioral consultation to classroom staff and directly support students.
- Update and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to align with student IEPs.
- Guide and empower classroom teams in applying effective intervention and support strategies.
- Partner with special education staff and administration to maximize student success.
- Maintain a flexible part-time schedule (2 days per week, Monday–Friday options).
With a caseload of approximately 29 students, you’ll play a vital role in providing much-needed consultation and behavioral support across several grades. The classrooms are stable but ready for your expertise to help enhance both staff and student experiences.
