What You'll Do

Provide high-quality nursing care in the PACU setting, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code, and Standards of Practice
Assess patient needs and implement care strategies for post-operative recovery
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and ancillary team members
Maintain detailed documentation of patient status and care provided
Educate patients and their families on post-discharge instructions
Ensure safety protocols and infection control policies are followed at all times

What You Need

Required:

Valid RN license in Louisiana
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
CPI certification
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or PACU setting

Preferred:

Additional certifications in clinical specialty areas
Experience with diverse patient populations
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
