What You'll Do:

Provide specialized nursing care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Assess patient recovery status and monitor vital signs and responsiveness
Effectively delegate and coordinate patient care with licensed and ancillary staff
Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members
Educate patients and families on recovery process and post-op instructions
Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records

What You Need:

Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
Minimum of 2 years of ICU, surgical, or PACU nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications from the American Heart Association or equivalent
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to various patient populations and healthcare environments
