Senior AccountantThe Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of BioWave's financial operations and reporting processes. This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys ownership of core accounting functions, and can independently manage day-to-day financial transactions with minimal supervision.The successful candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing accounting, accounts payable management, bank reconciliations, expense reporting, and general ledger maintenance. This role will work cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and support strategic business decisions.Duties and ResponsibilitiesGeneral Accounting & Financial OperationsReconciliations & Cash ManagementAccounts Payable ManagementExpense Reporting & Corporate Card AdministrationCross-Functional CollaborationSystems & Process ImprovementRequired Experience/SkillsMinimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience at the Senior Accountant level.Experience within a manufacturing environment.Demonstrated ability to manage accounting transactions independently with minimal supervision.Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting principles.Experience owning the full Accounts Payable cycle.Experience performing complex bank and credit card reconciliations.Strong knowledge of expense reporting and financial controls.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience with QuickBooks or similar ERP/accounting systems.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Nice-to-HavesExperience working within a multi-channel business environment (eCommerce, B2B, retail, distributor, or direct-to-consumer channels).Experience with Bill.com.Experience with Divvy expense management platform.Experience with Salesforce.Experience supporting audits and external accounting partners.Knowledge of inventory accounting and manufacturing cost accounting.Success MetricsMaintain accurate and timely monthly financial reconciliations.Ensure Accounts Payable is processed efficiently with minimal exceptions.Improve visibility and controls around expense reporting.Support accurate month-end close processes and reporting deadlines.Partner effectively with Operations and Leadership to support business growth.Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.EducationBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Pay & Benefits SummaryBase: $80,000 - $90,000Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Available401K- discretionary 2.5% employer matchBasic/Voluntary Term Life InsuranceLong Term DisabilityHSA AccountsPTO Years 1 and 2, 15 days, Year 3 onwards 20 days12 paid public holidaysRemote work environment (East coast hours required initially)Reimbursement for travel(sales)Legal Disclaimer(s)Exempt: As an exempt employee, your position is classified as exempt from overtime requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state laws.
