Looking for a reliable role with great hours and a supportive team? We are hiring 10 Assemblers to help build high-precision sensing equipment and custom cable assemblies.

No prior experience? No problem! While 1-2 years of manufacturing experience is a plus, this work is highly trainable.

Shifts & Pay Available

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | $19.00 / hr
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 11:00 PM | $21.85 / hr

What You'll Do

• Assemble: Piece together small electrical components, hardware, and wire assemblies using basic hand tools.
• Read Guidelines: Follow straightforward work instructions and parts lists to build products correctly.
• Inspect: Conduct basic visual checks to ensure everything is put together right.
• Track: Perform simple computer data entry to track your daily progress and inventory.

What We Look For

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Good hand-eye coordination for handling small parts, basic computer skills, and a safety-first mindset.
• Physical Ability: Able to stand, sit, and occasionally lift/move up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical Assembly: Piece together varied electrical components, hardware, housings, and custom wire or fiber-optic cable assemblies using basic hand tools, grinders, and polishers.
• Blueprint & BOM Reading: Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, engineering schematics, and Bills of Material (BOM) to correctly kit and assemble parts.
• Quality Inspection: Use precision measurement tools (such as calipers and micrometers) to conduct basic visual and mechanical inspections, ensuring products meet quality standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in daily lean manufacturing practices (such as 5S, Standard Work, and Fortive/Ralliant Business System tools) to reduce process variation and cycle times.
• Documentation & Systems: Perform basic computer entries into the ERP system (e.g., JD Edwards or Oracle) to track order progression, inventory usage, and daily metrics.

The essential functions of this role include:
