Depending on experience, candidates may be eligible to begin earning commission upon hire or become eligible for commission after successfully completing the training program.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prospecting, qualifying, and securing new customers for bulk gasoline and diesel deliveryManaging the full sales cycle, including pricing, quoting, and closing dealsBuilding long-term relationships with commercial, agricultural, and government clientsNavigating and responding to RFP/RFQ processesObtaining and reviewing customer credit applicationsProviding daily fuel pricing quotes and processing customer ordersAssisting with the collection processMINUMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATIONWe're looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and relationship-driven, with a strong sales mindset.Proven experience in sales, preferably in fuel, energy, or a related industryExperience selling to end users requiring truck and trailer fuel deliveryFamiliarity with RFP/RFQ processesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectivelyDetail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilitiesAbility to build and maintain positive, professional relationshipsIntermediate computer skills, including Microsoft ExcelPREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:Existing customer base or industry contacts within CaliforniaTESTING REQUIREMENTS:Candidates will be required to participate in the following as a condition to hire:Assessment testing (as needed)Culture Index SurveyGENERAL INFORMATION:Benefits offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage; Mutual of Omaha life insurance with buy up option, Mutual of Omaha supplemental plans, vacation accrual and paid holidays.
