Work Environment

This role is based in a rehabilitation facility in Metuchen, NJ, where you will work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Deep Care Physical Therapy, your essential responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patients referred by physicians, determining their physical needs and goals.
• Crafting personalized treatment plans that incorporate a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Delivering specialized care for various patient populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes and recovery times.
• Providing education and training to patients and caregivers, enabling them to understand their conditions and engage in their recovery processes effectively.
• Tracking and documenting patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Meeting minimum utilization goals while contributing positively to the clinic's overall effectiveness and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited institution.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
