Maintenance Mechanic
Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, document, and repair production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role supports CNC machining centers, production and office equipment, material handling systems, and building infrastructure through preventative maintenance, corrective repair, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Daily Schedule: 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- CNC machine tool maintenance and repair
- Electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing and mechanical diagnostic and repair abilities
- Knowledge of PLC’s, ladder logic, and parametric programming
- General knowledge of machine tools, shop equipment and terminology.
- Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding/fabrication, and general building maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- 2-7 years’ experience in CNC tool machine and facilities maintenance, electrical and mechanical.
- PLC experience or programming logic a plus.
- Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing and electrical equipment.
This is a 1st shift position.
Pay is from $25.00 to $32.00hr
