CNC Machinist Manufacturing Mansfield, Texas Contract to Hire Aug 3, 2026 NSC Staffing has an immediate opening for a CNC Machinist in Mansfield, TX. -Background friendly- Shift: 1st shift, schedule 7a 3:30p, Monday Friday Pay: $20-$26/hour depending on experience We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our custom metal fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up, programming and operating CNC mills and lathes, with hands-on experience using YCM machines. This role involves producing precision components for one-off and small-batch custom projects, requiring a strong understanding of machining principles, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Key responsibilities include: Set up, program and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce custom metal parts Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings and machine instructions Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds based on material and job specs Perform first piece inspection and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes as required by custom design Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize programs for efficiency and quality Collaborate with engineers, designers and fabricators to meet project goals Duties: Program CNC machines using G-code and conversational controls (experience with YCM preferred) Set up workholding fixtures, tooling, and machine parameters for each job Operate vertical and horizontal mills, as well as manual CNC lathes Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring tools Debur, clean, and finish machined components as needed NSC Staffing values our employees and is committed to offering meaningful employment in safe workplace conditions.
