# Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Kansas Start Date: September 22, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM, includes one late night per week, one 8-hour Saturday every fourth week, and one 8-hour call shift per month on Saturday or Sunday; 30-minute response time for call Highlights: - Work in a state-of-the-art 28-bed surgical unit featuring advanced robotic technology including DaVinci Robotics SI, XI, and Mako systems- Diverse case mix including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, GYN, neurology, spine, trauma, TAVR, and pediatrics- 1:1 patient ratios ensuring focused, high-quality patient care- EMR system: Meditech / CPN- Seasonal travel assignment with opportunities to work alongside experienced surgical staff- Access to cutting-edge equipment and advanced surgical procedures Requirements: - Active RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility- Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN hospital experience required- BLS and ACLS certifications required- Experience with DaVinci Robotics preferred- Orthopedic, neurology, and vascular experience highly preferred- Prior Meditech experience a plus- Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work with advanced surgical robotics and a wide variety of surgical specialties in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
