Program Representative

Position Summary The Program Representative is responsible for a caseload of clients participating in a federal or state rental assistance program that we manage. Under the supervision of the Director of Rental Assistance, the Program Representative ensures that program participants and owners receiving rental assistance comply with program requirements in accordance with all applicable state or federal regulatory requirements as well as RCAP's internal policies and procedures. They conduct this according to RCAP's objectives, standards and supporting a team-oriented, healthy, and dynamic work environment. Experience Requirements Minimum of two (2) years of experience in housing and/or working in social service agencies or related experience and/or training. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with software systems. Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills. Highly motivated self-starter with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, leadership, external vendors, and stakeholders. Encourage a positive work environment that is inclusive and supportive of change. Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision. Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred. Education Requirements Associate's degree or equivalent two-year college or technical school or a minimum of two (2) years of work experience in housing and/or working in social service agencies or related experience and/or training; or equivalent. Certifications or Licensures Must have reliable transportation. Must complete Nan McKay or Quadel, HUD and/or EOHLC required training and become certified within one (1) year of hiring. Physical Requirements Typical office settings include the ability to spend extended hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. Move regularly from sitting to standing position as well as frequently bending to maintain files. Ability to work on repetitive tasks and use fine motor skills to handle and control objects. Ability to use earpieces or headphones. Speak, listen, and understand others. Occasionally lift 15 to 30 lbs. Occasionally travel locally. #J-18808-Ljbffr
